Weekend Fixed Mixed League

The Fixed Mixed League is comprised of 32 teams of two women and two men with the women and men throwing alternate shots.  There are four divisions of 8 teams each, with promotion and relegation from one division to the next at the end of each round.  All new teams start out in the D division and progress from there.  This league contains teams that have curled together for years as well as completely new teams that have never curled together before.  There is a rolling schedule for this league with draw times being Fridays at 18:15 and 20:30 and Saturdays at 15:30, 17:45 and 20:00.  Teams do not always play the same time each week and the Weekend Social League also plays during this rolling scheduleFixed rinks are established at the start of the curling season with new members being added to fill existing short falls.
