Weekend Fixed Mixed League

The Fixed Mixed League is made up of 36 teams, each consisting of two women and two men. Players throw alternate shots (women-man-woman-man or man-woman-man-woman). There are 4 divisions, each with 9 teams. All new teams start in the D Division and can move up through the divisions. Some teams are long-standing, while others are brand new combinations.
Each division has 9 team slots. One team is promoted up and one is relegated down based on scores. Because Round 1 is shorter, some teams may play fewer games. In those cases, points will be adjusted to ensure fairness (details on this adjustment will be shared later). For Round 2, two teams are promoted and two are relegated in each division. With 9 teams per division, each team will occasionally have a scheduled bye week.
Draw times are Friday at 18:15 and 20:30; and Saturdays at 15:30, 17:45, and 20:00. Teams rotate different draw times each week, with the Weekend Social Lagues also playing during this schedule.
Rinks are set at the start of the curling season, with new members added as needed to fill any shortfalls.
Bailey Henderson is the Convenor for this league.
