Without a dedicated facility, the club initially rented ice elsewhere. During the 1984-1985 season, 48 curlers played on six rented sheets at the R.A. Curling Club on Sunday evenings. The following year, membership doubled to 96 curlers using twelve sheets. From 1986 to 1991, a growing roster of 120 members curled at the Ottawa Curling Club on O'Connor Street.

After exploring multiple sites on the fairgrounds, the club secured its current location in January 1987 with support from the Township of Cumberland and the Agricultural Society. On January 13, 1989, the club received a $250,000 Wintario grant to assist with construction. Dercon Construction broke ground in December 1990, and the steel structure was erected in January 1991.

The roughly $1,000,000 facility officially opened its doors on November 2, 1991. Lorne Bradley, who served as Club President during the demanding construction phase, threw the first curling stone in the new building before passing away in December 1991.

Driven by thousands of volunteer hours, the club thrived and soon required more space. Between 2004 and 2005, construction doubled the size of the lounge and basement areas. The basement became home to the "Lions Den," recognizing the Navan Lions Club's substantial financial contributions to the facility.
