Updated Registration Dates

- Registration Opens: April 15, 2026
- Registration Closes: May 15, 2026

The registration date for new members remains unchanged and opens June 1st.

Draw Time Adjustments

To improve the member experience and to allow appropriate time for ice maintenance, we are adjusting the following draw times:

Monday Night Ladies League:

• Draws will move to 6:15 PM and 8:30 PM.
  
  Many of you have noted that the 6:00 PM start has become increasingly difficult to meet due to rising traffic and unpredictable winter weather. This extra 15 minutes should provide a much-needed buffer for a safer, less stressful commute to the club.

Monday / Tuesday Day League:

• The draws for Tuesdays will move to 10:00 AM and 12:15 PM. There is no change for the Monday draw times.

This change was requested by our Ice Team. It provides a dedicated window for essential ice maintenance, ensuring we have the highest quality playing surface for the daytime draws.

New & Expanded Leagues

We are thrilled to expand our capacity to get more people on the ice!

Saturday Mixed Doubles Expansion: 
We are adding a third draw (times: 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:30 PM). While this eliminates Saturday practice ice, the demand for Mixed Doubles has exploded, and this change allows us to welcome 9 additional teams to the league.

New Friday Open Day League: 
We are introducing a Friday Open league at 11:15 AM. This league will accommodate 10 teams (with two teams having a bye each week). Practice ice will now be available from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Fridays.

New Friday/Saturday Open League: 
We are officially retiring the Social League and replacing it with the Friday/Saturday Open league. 

• True "Open" Format: Unlike our Fixed Mixed leagues, teams in this new Open League can consist of any gender combination and any throwing order you prefer.
  
  
• Scheduling: This league will initially occupy the current Social League spots within our five-draw weekend rotation. However, depending on registration interest, we may move it to a fixed day and time every week.
  
  
• Potential for Expansion: While we are currently planning for a single draw, we have the capacity to move to two draws if there is enough interest. If approximately 15 teams are interested in moving from the Fixed Mixed format to this new Open format, we will expand the league accordingly.
  
  
• Note to Current Social & Fixed Mixed Curlers: If you currently play in these leagues, please watch your inbox for a separate email containing more specific details on how these changes might affect your upcoming season.
